Apologies For The Late Update...

I discovered several of you have been asking for an update. Apologies for taking so long to respond... the Kickstarter messages go to the campaign email account [email protected], which I generally check on my phone. The problem, as I discovered tonight, is that they get organized into a separate folder than the "primary" folder... so I was not seeing the requests for updates.
I've been doing all of the packing shipping around my full-time job; many of you have already received your orders, or should at least have received shipping notices, as three batches of books were dropped off at the post office this evening. I'm closing in on finishing the domestic orders; most of the smaller orders are complete and I will begin shipping the larger orders shortly. Once all of the domestic orders are complete, I'll begin shipping international and will update you when that begins. After that, I will ship out the statues, which need to be packed separately from the books because they are not eligible for "media mail" and need to be packed more securely in any case.
As always, I remain accessible via my social media for quick answers on any specific questions or concerns you may have... although now that I have reclassified Kickstarter messages to my primary account folder, I should see those as well. And you may always cut out the Kickstarter midddleman and email me directly.
Thank you to everyone who has been so supportive throughout this process; you are greatly appreciated! This has been quite a learning experience, and why any future campaigns will not be "crowdfunders" but will be complete before they are offered.

FULFILLMENT BEGINS THIS WEEK!

Hello!
Books are set to arrive tomorrow! Once they arrive, I will begin the painstaking process of inspecting each copy, and bagging and boarding each book for shipment. I've already put together a thousand bags and boards (Currently taking up my living room) and am looking forward to getting orders out the door as quickly as humanly possible!
As I previously stated, we upgraded all the book to a square-bound, graphic novel format. One thing I noticed on the preview copies sent, was that this change made the "Kneel Before Vintage" cover print darker than I wanted, and doesn't quite achieve the effect I had hoped. I plan on reprinting this as a floppy in the future, and when I do, everyone who ordered that cover will be eligible for a free copy.
Thank you to everyone who has supported DOOMFACE thus far! Good stuff is on the horizon!

FIRST LOOK AT PRINTED BOOKS!

It has been a long and winding road, far longer than you (or I) wanted it to be... but the books are printed and on the water! As soon as they arrive, I will begin fulfilling orders in earnest!
I was able to look over soon of the printed proofs, and they came out VERY nice.As a reward for all of your patience, we upgraded all of the books to a square-bound format, which allowed us to include additional pages, including a cover gallery, and a "Disciples of Doomface" page to forever commemorate all of you wonderful people who helped make this possible! Going forward, I think this is what our standard format will be; 48-page square bound graphic novels, to keep the sizing uniform for our more obsessive compulsive collectors! (Of which I am one.)
Thank you again to all of you; you have no idea how much this means to all of us. Here's a look at the advance proof copies!
Printers Go Brrrrrrrrrrr

At long last! I have approved every aspect of production, everything looks incredible, and the books should be on the water this week!
We overprinted by about 20% on even the lowest production numbers, to allow for damage replacements once we begin fulfillment. Once our backers have their books safe and sound, we'll offer any leftovers up for general sale online, and at any shows I attend. I don't expect there will be any leftovers on at least a few of the covers, so some will definitely be harder to come by than others!
I plan to get together with Murphey sometime this week and discuss when we can release the digital download for MEMOIRS FROM THE VOID, the "making of" supplemental, to all backers.
In the meantime, Renzo is hard at work finishing inks on book 2, which I am looking to have complete before we offer it. I've said before I'm not happy with the delays on book 1, as I know some of you weren't either, and I want to get future books out on a fast, consistent basis... while maintaining the level of quality you all deserve. Again, I thank everyone who backed us, and all of you for your patience.
In addition to regular issues of Kneel Before Doomface, we're going to be offering various side specials when we have a fun idea that doesn't fit in the narrative of the regular book. These will also be finished before we offer them, to keep the turn around window short.
What sort of spin-offs, you may ask? Well, let me give you a sneak preview... with Doomface banished in the 1980's, have you ever wondered what Colonel Silverstreak got up to in the 90's?

I am happy to tell you that at long last... KNEEL BEFORE DOOMFACE #1 is OFF TO PRINT!
It has been a harrowing journey, and I thank all of you who have been patient through this process. I learned a lot, doing my first creator-owned book... both what to do, and what not to do... and I'm glad to finally have a time table for deliverables!
Between printing and shipping, I'm told deliverables will be in 6-8 weeks, so we're looking at late April to early May for fulfillment to begin. I will keep you posted on further updates!
Also... our final convention exclusive preview is just a week and a half away. The Comic Mint has commissioned an exclusive cover for MEGACON 2026... an homage to Jim Lee's X-Men #274, and the pre-sale has begun!
